The short version

The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and does not connect to the internet to operate. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What data the app stores, and where

All data is stored locally on your device and is never sent anywhere:

• Relationship Notebook entries you choose to add (names, nicknames, the kinship relationship, optional birthday, phone number, notes, deceased flag) are saved in a private on-device database.
• Photos you optionally attach are copied into the app's private storage on your device.
• Settings (speaker gender, character set, language, audio, theme) are saved in your device's local app preferences.

You can remove this data at any time by deleting entries in the app, or by deleting the app, which removes all of its local data.

What the app does NOT do

• Does not collect or transmit any data off your device.
• Does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
• Does not require an account or any sign-in.
• Does not access the network to function.
• Does not sell or share any information.

Permissions

Photo Library: requested only if you choose to add a photo to a notebook entry, so you can pick an image. The app accesses a selected photo solely to copy it into its own local storage. No photos are uploaded or shared.

Children's privacy

The app collects no data from anyone, including children. It is suitable for all ages.

Data backups

If you have iCloud/device backups enabled, the app's local data may be included in your own device backup, which is controlled entirely by you and your Apple account — the app itself performs no backup or sync.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
